Hey there! How has your Sunday been? Mine has been good and bad. Good: I found out that it's supposed to get up to 50 degrees Fahrenheit this week! Yippy!! Bad: today was daylight savings time. So, losing an hour on a Sunday morning is not one of my favorite things to experience. But, God is good!

Are we done taking pictures now? Because if we are that'd be great.
For the past few weeks we've been taking about the Beatitudes in the book of Matthew. Today we focused on verse 4 of chapter 5. It reads: "God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Mourning. When I think of that word I think of loss and a darkness that comes with it. We mourn for the things we don't have. Either things we once had or those we think we never will have.
Pastor also illustrated that mourning isn't all bad, it drives us. If you truly want something, you mourn for that thing. As Christians we should mourn for the presence of God! We should constantly be wanting and yearning for Him.
In Ecclesiastes it says,"There is a time to mourn and a time to dance." So, I think that means we cannot feel mourning or joy without the other. Mourning is healthy. If you keep one emotion pent up inside, I've found that, you will no longer feel. Mourning for the presence of God is not without reward. He promises to comfort us when we yearn after Him.

Has daylight savings time taken a toll on you too? Is it warming up where you live also?
