Hello, my lovelies! How are you on this glorious Sunday? I hope you are very well.
These are photos from a while back, but I wear this outfit all the time. Ask someone I know, they will most definitely concur. These are my absolute favorite pieces! And this look is perfect for fall and winter. Neutral with just a pop of color.
HERE WE GO!

HERE WE GO!
I'm in the same sitting position in all of these, sorry. I think you can see the outfit alright though, correct? I hope so.
- Dark wash skinny jean: Kohl's $15
- Dog sweater: Yonker's $30
- Army green booties: Old Navy $28
- Gold midi-rings: Claire's $3
- Ear rings and bracelet: Kohl's $18 combined
And this was before I dyed my hair so, if you noticed a difference, that was it. I don't know if it's just me but, don't I look really tan? ;)
Let's see if I can remember this, okay.....
This mornings sermon was quite a goodie! I hope it is as interesting and vital to you as it was to me.
We started out in Isaiah 43:18-19. "But, forget the past- it is nothing compared to what I am going to do next. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway though the wilderness. I will create rivers in a dry wasteland."
This message is about letting go of the past and embracing the future. It is about change. I don't know about you, but a lot of times I don't like change. I try to hold on to the memories of when everything was how I liked it. But, because I held onto those things, I was robbed of the new blessings God had for me. And it is the same for you.
Sometimes a known bondage is more comfortable than an unknown freedom. The future can be scary, I know. But, that shouldn't hinder us from grabbing onto what God holds out to us! Often times we are on the brink of change, if we can just embrace the new, great things will come our way.
The story of the Rich Young Ruler is a great example. He asked Jesus what he could do to receive the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus told him to sell his possessions, give up his riches, then he would collect his reward. But, the Rich Young Ruler went away sad, unwilling to let go of what he had to receive what he wanted.
To exchange good-intentioned resolutions for God-inspired goals:
If you are trying to change, but you aren't seeing results, don't lose heart! Every breath is a new beginning. Every morning His mercies are new! "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ becomes a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun." 2Corinthians 5:17.
