Hello, my beauties! I've been wanting to write this post ever since I started thinking about blogging! I might do this for every season too so, let me know in the comments if you would like to see more!
I will range from skin care to haircare. So, let's get started!

A very common problem in Winter months is dry skin, especially for those of us who live in the North. These are some of my favorite moisture-replenishing products.
Lacura Hydrating Facial Cleanser - I am LOVING this cleanser from Lacura. It's perfect for winter (or any season for that matter) because it's hydrating and perfect for all skin types. I had incredibly oily skin before using this product, but now my skin is so manageable! It is still slightly oily, but not nearly as much. My makeup stays a lot longer too. And it was only $2.49!
Norwex Antibac Body cloth - I can't say enough about this thing. It's anti-bacterial, so it kills all of those zit-causing germs and it removes eye makeup like a dream. It's just great.
La Tourangelle Avocado Oil - I swear, avocado oil is the closest thing to magic. When I take a bath, I make it ultra-luxurious by adding 2-3 tbls. into the bath while it's filling...all I can say is that it's incredible. I also like to use it as a pre-wash hair mask. It's light but, it's moisturizing enough that it gets the job done. I got this at the grocery store for $6.49.
Home Health Goji Berry Facial Cream - You know, in summer when you are all glowy and dewy and your skin looks gorgeous? Don't restrict that just to the warmer months! To get a healthy glow in the winter you should have a "chapped-skin-slapping' moisturizer! One that compliments your skin type but isn't ssooo heavy that it feels like a greasy-blanket on your face. Mine is from Home Health. It's not greasy whatsoever and absorbs very well. Plus, it's anti-aging! (I'm told, you can never start using anti-aging products too early.) I bought it from the health-food store for $16.99.
Nubian Heritage Olive and Green Tea Lotion - This lotion from Nubian Heritage smells divine. I'm always getting really chapped and dry hands this time of year so to combat that, a heavy duty hand cream does the trick. Meijer $8.99

Now, here are some products that will make your foundation look flawless and your face look healthy.
E.L.F. Brightening Lavender primer - Not only is their primer great but, it comes in a range of colors. I've chosen this purple one because it boosts radiance. Which is something that comes in handy in the colder months.
A beauty blender - I know it's not the Beauty Blender but, it's essentially the same thing. This thing is amazing! I love the finish it gives and it DOESN'T LEAVE BRUSH STROKES (brush users know what I'm a'talkin' 'bout)! It seems to take me less time to do my makeup for that very reason.
E.L.F. Makeup Mist & Set setting spray - This is vital for any time of the year but, I feel, especially now. The thing we want most is for our skin to look great during any season under the Sun, and this makes my skin look alive, radiant, awake, non-cake-like, everything anyone looks for in makeup (unless you want to look dead for Halloween or something like that then, by all means, go on wit yo bad self. Wow, gangstar.)! If you use powder foundation or even powder of any kind I highly recommend this stuff. It was only $2 or $3, if I recollect correctly.
E.L.F. High Definition Translucent Powder - It makes your skin look like porcelain - flawless and pretty; not the whitest substance known to man :) Just don't wear it when you know there will be flash photography because it can cause flash-back.
Revlon Photoready foundation- *sigh* This foundation is marvelous. It has light reflecting pigments in it (that pretty much means it's a teeny tiny bit sparkly) so, ohmalord! Makes my skin look like shiny silk. Although, it doesn't have full coverage, it still looks beautiful.

Ahh, hair. Thou art so hard to please. But, these products will sure as heaven and earth help!
OGX Kukui Oil Shampoo & Conditioner - My mom (who has curly hair) and I both use this and love it. It makes my hair shiny and silky smooth.
OGX Kukui Oil Hydrating Oil - I just love this whole line! I apply this post shower while my hair is still damp and it makes my hair look so good! It's incredibly light, light enough to spray in my curly-headed mom's hair, scrunch and go. Curly hair is often awfully hard to style and this product makes it a breeze.
OGX Moroccan Argan Oil Penetrating Oil - Both this and the Kukui oil smell like what you'd think an angel smells like. I'm sniffing now as I type actually :D This oil is heat and UV protectant which makes it all the more awesome. It's slightly heavier than the Kukui oil, though.
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle for moisture - It is a winter must-have because, who wants dry and brittle hair?! I certainly don't! It gives me super soft hair and its only like $6! It also smells amazing. It reminds me of summer.
And finally, the Tangle Teezer. I love this thing! My mother can attest to the fact that I would wail every time anyone brushed my hair. If that was your dilema also, wail no more. This brush doesn't feel like you are pulling out every single one of your hairs in one stroke. And it cuts down on breakage because it's so hair friendly. I have noticed a great difference in my hair since I purchased this.
